Job summary

Randstad Australia in Perth is seeking a Recruitment Consultant for a 12-month fixed-term role within a tight-knit, high-performing team. You will manage a 360-degree engineering desk, partnering with established public sector and commercial accounts that Randstad has serviced for over 10 years.

Supported by a Manager with 20+ years of experience, you’ll have autonomy to deliver results. You’ll source, interview and place engineering talent across electrical, mechanical and technical domains,

Qualifications

• Recruitment experience: a minimum of 18+ months in a recruitment agency, with engineering/technical backgrounds welcome.
• Commercial drive and curiosity: ambitious, collaborative, and focused on quality outcomes.
• Team-first mindset: down-to-earth professional thriving in a supportive, banter-friendly team.
• Logistics and location: based in Perth with full working rights in Australia; driver’s licence preferred; Uber and team travel provided.

Responsibilities

• 360° Account Management & Sales: nurture warm public sector accounts while expanding engineering/mining opportunities.
• Candidate Sourcing & Delivery: source, interview, and match technical engineering talent across electrical, mechanical and related domains.
• Client Engagement & Meetings: conduct face-to-face and virtual meetings to qualify requirements and grow footprint.
• End-to-End Delivery: partner with clients and candidates to deliver temporary and permanent recruitment solutions.
• Activity & Pipeline Discipline: manage admin, data hygiene, and recruitment activity in market-leading systems.
