We are looking for an Engineering & Product Manager to join our Leadership Team and lead Turbosmart’s engineering department through its next stage of growth.

This is a strategic and transformational leadership role responsible for defining and executing our engineering strategy, with a core focus on building and leading a high-performing department to ensure our engineering capabilities support continued growth, innovation, and product development.

You will operate at both the strategic and operational level, partnering closely with the Leadership Team on company strategy while providing clear leadership and direction across the engineering department.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the engineering department strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
• Ensure engineering investment is focused on the areas that deliver the greatest customer and business value
• Lead engineering projects from concept through delivery, coordinating scope, timelines, resources, risks, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to agreed requirements.
• Own and oversee the New Product Process (NPP) through concept to delivery
• Deliver projects to agreed timelines, with timesheet tracking and budget allocation.
• Build, lead, and continuously evolve a high-performing engineering team.
• Establish an organisation structure that supports scale, accountability, autonomy, and effective collaboration.
• Create a culture of engineering excellence, ownership, transparency, continuous improvement, and customer focus.

You will bring:

• 10+ year’s experience leading engineering departments at leadership / executive team level.
• A background in the aftermarket automotive industry or aeronautical industry (desirable)
• Strong project management skills, with experience in delivering projects to agreed timelines, budgets, and timesheet tracking.
• Proven experience leading and managing a New Product Process (NPP) from initial idea through to delivery.
• Demonstrated experience building and scaling high-performing engineering teams.
• A track record of improving engineering effectiveness, quality, and predictability.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A leadership style that combines high standards with empathy, transparency, and accountability.
