Job summary

The client is seeking an Engineering Manager to build and lead the engineering function in a bulk materials handling/mining environment. This leadership role emphasizes structure, accountability and strategic direction over day-to-day design work.

You will own engineering standards, workload visibility and the use of onshore and offshore resources, ensuring drawings, technical documentation and ERP data stay consistent across the business.

Qualifications

• Proven engineering leadership experience.
• Background in bulk materials handling, manufacturing, mining or related industry.
• Exposure to offshore engineering resources is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of engineers, a senior engineer, drafters and external partners.
• Provide technical oversight and coordinate engineering checking and verification.
• Establish and maintain engineering standards, templates and change control processes.
• Manage engineering workload across onshore and offshore resources.
• Support sales, operations and site teams with technical input.
