Job summary

AustCorp Executive is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the engineering department and serve as the key interface between customers, manufacturing, engineering and management.

The role involves guiding the design and manufacture of custom heavy transport equipment, managing a team of engineers and drafters, and turning complex customer requirements into practical product solutions with strong results in the Australian heavy transport sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree with strong technical background in mechanical engineering.
• Proven experience in engineering design/manufacturing processes for heavy transport equipment.
• Senior design or engineering management experience is highly regarded.
• Experience in technical or customer-facing roles within the heavy transport industry in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Act as the lead interface between customers and engineering/production teams.
• Manage a team of engineers and drafters for design and development of custom heavy transport equipment.
• Evaluate customer requirements and present practical product solutions.
• Demonstrate deep technical knowledge of heavy transport equipment (Trailers, Trucks, etc).
• Build relationships based on trust and proven delivery performance.
• Turn technical enquiries into commercial outcomes.
