Job summary

OpenTable is seeking a Senior Engineering Leader to drive product architecture and delivery across a full-stack team. You will partner with Product, Design and other engineering groups to shape roadmaps, advocate high performance, and empower engineers to operate with autonomy.

You bring 8–10 years of software development with hands-on leadership and a track record of delivering scalable, microservice-based systems.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of software engineering experience.
• At least 2 years of experience leading teams.
• Hands-on engineer with servant leadership.
• Strong planning, organization, and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to break complex product requirements into milestones and designs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Management, Design, and other Engineering teams.
• Own the architecture of the products you lead.
• Deliver on the product roadmap and maintain a healthy codebase.
• Provide servant leadership and mentorship to enable independent decision making.
• Build a culture of trust and teamwork and drive team development and hiring.
