Precision Sourcing Australia is seeking an Azure Cloud Lead to take technical ownership of its Azure environment and shape the cloud strategy. This hands-on role requires broad expertise across networking, identity, security and governance.

You will lead design and delivery of Azure infrastructure, mentor engineers and partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into practical, scalable solutions. The position offers direct impact on critical initiatives and meaningful work.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Azure experience across infrastructure, networking, identity and security.
• Experience building and improving Azure environments, landing zones and governance controls.
• Solid understanding of availability, backup, disaster recovery and operational support.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and automation.
• Confident taking technical ownership and explaining complex concepts clearly.
• Collaborative approach and willingness to support and develop others.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design, delivery and ongoing improvement of Azure infrastructure.
• Act as the Azure SME, providing technical guidance and resolving complex issues.
• Own the networking foundations, including VNets, subnets, routing, NSGs, firewalls, private endpoints, DNS and hybrid connectivity.
• Strengthen identity and access management through Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC and privileged access controls.
• Develop secure, scalable cloud foundations using Azure Landing Zones and Cloud Adoption Framework principles.
• Improve governance, Azure Policy, monitoring, resilience and cost management.
• Drive infrastructure automation through tools such as Terraform, Bicep and PowerShell.
• Work with technical teams and business stakeholders to turn requirements into practical solutions.
• Mentor engineers and help establish consistent engineering standards.

We’re partnering with a purpose-led organisation looking for an Azure Cloud Lead to take technical ownership of its Azure environment. This is an opportunity to bring your expertise to a company whose work makes a positive difference.

We’re looking for a hands‑on Azure subject matter expert - someone who understands how a cloud environment fits together, from networking and identity through to security, governance and infrastructure.

You’ll help shape the cloud roadmap while staying close to the technology, solving complex problems and supporting the people around you.

• Strong networking knowledge, with the ability to design and troubleshoot connectivity across cloud and on‑premises environments.
• Experience building and improving Azure environments, including landing zones and governance controls.
• A solid understanding of availability, backup, disaster recovery and operational support.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and automation.
• Confidence taking technical ownership and explaining complex concepts clearly.
• A collaborative approach and a willingness to support and develop others.

You may already be an Azure Cloud Lead, or a senior Azure engineer or architect ready to take on broader technical ownership. Your depth of expertise and ability to put it into practice matter most.
