IFF’s Melbourne site seeks an experienced engineering leader to drive safe, reliable operations and continuous improvement. This onsite role offers the chance to shape capital portfolios and partner with cross-functional teams on sustainable outcomes.

Based in Melbourne, you will lead the Engineering team, manage large-scale projects, ensure regulatory compliance, and advance process safety initiatives, aligning with our global growth agenda.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Proven leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong project management and capital investment experience.
• Solid understanding of engineering standards, process safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Engineering team.
• Manage CAPEX and OPEX project portfolios from planning through commissioning.
• Provide technical leadership and support engineering decision-making.
• Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and asset optimization initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety requirements, and regulatory obligations.
• Lead risk assessments, Management of Change (MOC), and process safety activities.
• Develop site engineering strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, EHS, Procurement, Finance, and external partners to deliver sustainable business results.
