Job summary

Kilcoy Global Foods is a leading Australian beef and meat producer based in Kilcoy, Queensland. The company seeks a Qualified Engineering Maintenance Supervisor to lead a maintenance team in a fast-paced 24/7 beef production environment.

You will oversee preventative maintenance, manage contractors, and drive improvements to maximise uptime and efficiency. Trade-qualifications and strong leadership are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified in a mechanical or electrical discipline.
• Proven leadership experience, able to coach and develop a team.
• Experience with preventative maintenance systems (CMMS preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a team of maintenance fitters and electricians across shifts.
• Oversee daily preventative and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Manage contractors and liaise with suppliers to ensure safe, effective completion of work.
• Support production teams to maintain plant uptime and efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement projects focused on equipment reliability and plant performance.

Kilcoy Global Foods currently has permanent opportunities for a Qualified Engineering Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in a fast-paced 24/7, beef production environment. Work environments will vary from agricultural, production, refrigeration.

About the Role

• Lead and coordinate a team of maintenance fitters and electricians across shifts.

• Support production teams to maintain plant uptime and efficiency.

About You

• Trade qualified (Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Electrician, or similar).
• Proven leadership experience
• Strong working knowledge of preventative maintenance systems (CMMS experience highly regarded).
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop a team in a high-pressure environment.
• Excellent problem solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
