Job summary

AustCorp Executive is seeking an Engineering Lead to drive multiple continuous improvement and product development projects in our manufacturing workshop. You will oversee architecture development, design reviews, and on-site execution to boost quality and production rates on the assembly line.

The role requires a hands-on leader with a track record in mechanical systems, conveyors, robotics and CNC solutions, and a demonstrated ability to manage engineers from concept through commissioning.

Qualifications

• Mechanical, Mechatronics or Manufacturing engineering qualification.
• Proven track record developing new mechanical systems and system architecture to improve a production and assembly line in a workshop environment.
• Experience with designing mechanical systems - conveyors, robotics, CNC machines, robotic welding arms etc
• Experience leading teams of engineers

Responsibilities

• Lead the Development of new machine architecture
• Lead the component selection, modelling and design process, review calculations – from concept through to completion
• Manage a small team of engineers by task delegation, peer reviewing and quality control
• Manage the whole design, build, installation and commissioning process for the product and assembly line improvements
