Job summary

Rauland Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Platform Engineering Lead to guide the platform architecture and drive its strategy within the Product team. You will lead engineers to deliver roadmap initiatives end-to-end, maintaining high engineering standards and enabling teams to perform at their best.

In this role you will shape platform capabilities across AI, data, cloud or cybersecurity domains, collaborate with Product, Architecture, Design and Delivery stakeholders, and coach a high-performing

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
• Agile, Scrum, or SAFe certification advantageous.
• Familiarity with QA practices and technical debt management.

• Lead sprint planning, estimation, and delivery to ensure successful end-to-end feature outcomes.

We're looking for a Platform Engineering Lead to join our growing Product team and help shape the next generation of digital health solutions at Rauland.

The Opportunity:

As Engineering Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the platform architecture and shaping our future platform strategy. Leading a talented team of engineers, you'll be responsible for driving the successful delivery of roadmap initiatives, ensuring high-quality outcomes and enabling the team to perform at its best.

You'll combine strong technical leadership with a pragmatic delivery mindset, ensuring features are delivered end-to-end, engineering standards remain high, and teams have the clarity, capability and support needed to achieve outstanding results. Working closely with Product, Architecture and Delivery stakeholders, you'll help translate strategic priorities into reliable, scalable solutions that create meaningful business and customer outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

About You

You are a strong technical lead with a pragmatic delivery, passionate about translating strategic priorities into scalable solutions that deliver meaningful customer and business outcomes.

You’ll bring:

• Proven experience leading Agile delivery for software teams, ideally in SaaS or enterprise software environments.
• Experience contributing to platform architecture and technical design decisions to enhance platform stability, maintainability and performance.
• Experience building scalable, reusable platform capabilities across AI, Data, Cloud or Cybersecurity domains.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to foster collaboration, resolve conflicts and drive alignment across business and technology teams.
