About the Opportunity:

MAAS Construct is seeking an experienced Engineering Lead to join our team in a full-time, fixed term 18 months contract. Reporting to the Project Director, you will lead on-site design coordination, manage the engineering function, and ensure design information is translated into practical construction outcomes across major building projects.

You’ll play a key role in maintaining quality, technical integrity, and program momentum by managing RFIs, shop drawings, inspection hold points, and design-related issues while working closely with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.

About You:

• 8+ years’ experience in engineering or technical management within the building construction industry.
• Strong understanding of structural, civil, or building services documentation and approval processes.
• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across project teams.
• Proactive, solutions-focused, and confident managing RFIs, technical documentation, and design issues on site.
