Job summary

AGL is offering a two-year Engineering Graduate Program designed to develop the next generation of energy industry leaders through structured rotations across engineering disciplines, assets and projects. Graduates gain hands‑on experience and rotate through 3 x 8‑month periods, with housing provided for rotations away from home.

Qualifications

• Graduated within the last 3 years or due to graduate prior to program commencement.
• Must have the right to work in Australia; visas must be valid for the full 2 years.
• Must be able to geographically relocate for 8‑month rotations.
• Own car and licence; some rotation sites are not accessible by public transport.

Responsibilities

• Completing assigned rotations; undertaking responsibilities including, but not limited to:
• Operating within engineering teams and performing tasks relevant to the sites
• Asset management, maintenance and optimisation of plant, systems and equipment
• Participate in the development and implementation of engineering strategies
• Projects and program support
• Design, development, testing, and optimisation activities
• Investigations and analysis, providing recommendations for improvements
• Prepare factual and technical reports, for engineers and laypersons
