Help us create a cleaner energy future, and we’ll back you every step of the way as you build your career.

About The Role

Develop broad experience. Build technical capability. Accelerate your engineering career.

The AGL Engineering Graduate Program is designed to develop the next generation of energy industry leaders through a structured two‑year rotational program. Graduates gain hands‑on experience across a range of engineering disciplines, assets, and projects while contributing to the transition of Australia’s energy future.

The program runs over two years and consists of 3 x 8-month rotations.

Through diverse rotations, graduates are exposed to different technologies, operational environments, and business functions across AGL’s Energy Assets portfolio. This unique opportunity enables participants to build technical capability, broaden their industry knowledge, and discover the career pathways that best align with their strengths and interests.

Working alongside experienced engineers, technical specialists, and operational leaders, graduates develop a well‑rounded understanding of how AGL’s assets are designed, operated, maintained, and transformed to meet future energy demands.
