ASC is Australia’s submarine company delivering sustainment programs like Collins Class LOtE. The Program Director leads complex engineering and delivery efforts across a broad stakeholder network to ensure safety, capability and timely outcomes.

You will balance schedule, cost and risk while guiding a team of technical specialists through decision points in a regulated defence context. This is a senior, career-defining role with a focus on delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading large-scale maritime, sustainment or complex engineering programs within Defence environments.
• Demonstrated success delivering outcomes on ageing or legacy platforms with critical availability, safety and capability.
• Strong commercial and program leadership with decisions on competing schedule, cost and technical priorities.
• Proven ability to lead through ambiguity with sound judgement when information is incomplete or evolving.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills with credibility to lead technical teams.
• Experience managing significant program risks, workforce challenges and strategic delivery issues.

Responsabilités

• Lead the Collins Class Life of Type Extension program into its future sustainment model.
• Provide strategic leadership across engineering, maintenance and sustainment activities to achieve capability, schedule and cost objectives.
• Make informed, risk-based decisions in complex environments balancing technical, commercial and program delivery outcomes.
• Drive resolution of engineering, workforce and capability challenges in sustaining ageing submarine platforms.
• Align and integrate stakeholders across engineering, operations, supply chain, maintenance and customer organisations to deliver objectives.
• Establish clear program priorities, monitor progress and intervene when risks threaten delivery.
• Build credibility and influence within a highly experienced technical environment while maintaining accountability for results.
