Dyno Nobel Moranbah is seeking a Static Equipment Engineer to drive asset integrity and reliability improvements across the site. You will develop maintenance strategies, lead investigations and support turnaround planning to enhance equipment performance.
You will collaborate with operations and maintenance to deliver safe, efficient operations, leveraging your experience in mechanical engineering and industrial asset management.

We are looking for a Static Equipment Engineer to join our Moranbah Operations team. Reporting to the Lead Static Equipment Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the static equipment function across site through the development of maintenance and reliability strategies, asset integrity management and continuous improvement initiatives.
Working closely with operations, maintenance and engineering teams, you will provide technical expertise to improve equipment performance, reduce reliability risks and support safe, efficient plant operations.
You must be committed to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high-performance culture.
Tertiary qualification in Mechanical, Materials or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
Experience working within a Petrochemical, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas processing industry or heavy industrial environment (Desirable).
Exposure to Ammonia plant or Nitric Acid/Ammonium Nitrate plant is Highly preferred.
Experience in pressure equipment reliability, asset integrity and inspection programs.
Knowledge of failure mechanisms, materials, welding processes and engineering standards relating to static equipment.
Experience with reliability-centred maintenance, risk-based maintenance and root cause analysis methodologies.
RPEQ, CPEng, NPER, AICIP or API qualifications will be highly regarded.
