You will plan, coordinate and inspect works, manage contractors, prepare estimates and reports, and liaise with residents and stakeholders, contributing to safe, quality outcomes.

Working within Council’s Civil Asset Maintenance team, you will manage maintenance, renewal and minor capital works across the road reserve. This includes roads, drainage, footpaths, kerb and gutter, pedestrian crossings, traffic facilities, bus stops and other public infrastructure.
You will have the autonomy to manage your own workload, develop practical solutions and see
the results of your work across the city.
Reporting to the Senior Coordinator Civil Asset Maintenance and Administration, you will:
The team works across several civil infrastructure streams, including roads, concrete assets, drainage and applications. Over time, you will gain exposure to different areas of the operation, building broader experience and supporting your future career progression.
You are a practical and proactive Civil Engineer who takes ownership of your work. You can identify a problem, investigate the cause and recommend a considered solution rather than waiting to be told what to do next.
You will bring:
Previous local government experience is advantageous but not essential. Candidates from councils, civil contractors, consultancies and other infrastructure organisations are encouraged to apply.
