Job summary

Phoenix Education in Sydney is seeking a motivated Secondary Maths Tutor to support high school students and contribute to our growing team. You will deliver well-structured lessons for Years 7-12 and help students develop confidence in key mathematical concepts.

We welcome applicants pursuing or holding a Mathematics or Education degree, with tutoring or teaching experience preferred. You will join a collaborative, supportive centre offering ongoing training and professional development.

Qualifications

• Studying or holding a degree in Mathematics or Education.
• Experience tutoring or teaching secondary Maths is preferred but not essential.
• Reliability, adaptability and willingness to receive training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver well-structured and engaging lessons for Years 7-12 during the school term.
• Track student progress through quizzes, marking, and feedback.
• Help students understand key mathematical concepts and build confidence.
• Support general teaching and tasks as required by the centre.
