Job summary

Gold Coast City Council seeks an Enforcement Processing Support Officer to join the Community Compliance team within the City Inspectorate Branch. The role focuses on accurate processing of infringement information, vehicle registration checks, and robust record-keeping.

You will work in a high-volume environment, handling confidential data with integrity, supporting audits, and maintaining compliant workflows across enforcement activities.

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify errors and inconsistencies in information.
• Strong data entry and administrative skills, with the ability to accurately process high volumes of information.
• Experience working with databases, information systems and computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Generate and process infringement notices in accordance with legislative requirements, policies and procedures.
• Conduct vehicle registration searches through approved information-sharing arrangements and systems.
• Undertake high-volume data entry and processing activities with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Maintain records and databases to ensure information is complete, accurate and auditable.
• Support internal and external audit requirements through record management, reporting and compliance checks.
• Monitor and update enforcement processing systems and workflows.
• Assist with the preparation of correspondence, notices and other regulatory documentation.
• Ensure all activities comply with relevant legislation, policies, procedures and information security requirements.
• Assist with reporting, statistics and performance monitoring activities as required.
