Job summary

Wellpro Services in Roma, QLD, is seeking a competent Coiled Tubing and Pumping Specialist to join our team at headquarters. The Operator will run the Coiled Tubing Unit and High Pressure Pump, overseeing site execution and ensuring safety of all personnel and customers while delivering world-class service.

• Minimum oilfield service operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of the operation of coiled tubing and cementing units.
• Cementing course completed.
• Good knowledge of downhole equipment and workover procedures.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain coil tubing and cementing units and related equipment
• Assist Supervisor to plan and organize jobs and procure site equipment
• Implement maintenance schedules for equipment (including BOPs, trucks, pumps engines)
• Maintain parts and spares inventory to optimise uptime
• Recommend improvements to the quality system

Job description

We are looking for a competent and qualified Coiled Tubing and Pumping Specialists to join our team at our headquarters in Roma QLD.

Position Summary:

The Operator is responsible for operating the Coiled Tubing Unit and High Pressure Pump, he/she oversees the overall site execution being responsible for the safety of all personnel involved on site including customers and third parties as well as the service delivery providing with world class services avoiding human error and equipment failures.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain all site equipment that may include, coil tubing units, cement pumping units and associated ancillary equipment
• Assist the Supervisor to plan and organize jobs including the procurement of site specific equipment
• Implement maintenance schedules for all related equipment (including, BOP’s, trucks, pumps engines and iron)
• Assist the Supervisor to maintain parts and spares inventory to ensure uptime for all equipment is optimized
• Recommending possible improvements to the quality system

Qualifications:

• Sound oilfield service operations experience
• Solid knowledge of the operation of, and the ability to operate and maintain coiled tubing and cementing units, mud pumps, compressors, boosters, mist pumps etc.

• Good knowledge of down hole equipment and work over procedures
• Excellent mechanical aptitude
• Working at Heights
• Car Licence C Class

Salary: $100,000 to $110,000 per annum
