Job summary

AusNet Services is seeking an experienced Project Manager to plan and deliver infrastructure projects across the Development & Future Networks portfolio in line with governance and reporting requirements.

You will coordinate internal teams, delivery partners and suppliers, ensuring safe delivery, effective handover and clear communication with stakeholders while building commercial and risk management capability within the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in project management, coordination or infrastructure delivery roles.
• Tertiary qualification in Electrical, Civil or similar engineering discipline.
• Practical application of project management methodologies and controls across the full lifecycle.
• Experience planning using MS Project or Primavera P6 with accurate tracking and reporting.
• Exposure to contractor and supplier management, cost forecasting and approvals.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage delivery of infrastructure projects/workstreams in line with governance and reporting requirements.
• Develop, maintain and control Project Management Plans, schedules, milestones and deliverables.
• Coordinate internal teams, delivery partners and suppliers to achieve project outcomes.
• Ensure safe project delivery in accordance with safety systems and requirements.
• Apply governance, risk and issue management, including escalation of material risks.
• Support commercial and financial management, including forecasting and cost control.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and maintain customer-focused delivery.
• Contribute to a positive team culture and continuous improvement.
