Job summary

AusNet Services Ltd is seeking a Team Lead, Primary within the D&FN Infrastructure Engineering team in Australia. You will build and lead a high-performing engineering group, shaping capability, workforce plans and governance to deliver safe, quality outcomes.

You’ll influence projects and portfolios with strategic input, collaborate across stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement and technical excellence in design and construction for terminal stations and substations.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years’ experience in utilities with design and asset management.
• Experience leading engineering teams and design/construction.
• Knowledge of electrical equipment for Terminal Stations and Substations up to 500kV per AS2067.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team with accountability, collaboration and safety.
• Coach and support engineers, fostering career growth and succession planning.
• Develop and execute the engineering discipline strategy aligned to business objectives.
• Provide technical leadership, governance and assurance across projects.
• Act as senior technical authority delivering expert input to priorities.
