Momentum Energy Pty Ltd is seeking a Compliance and Risk Advisor to support leadership, managers and staff in meeting regulatory obligations and risk responsibilities. This 6-month secondment focuses on implementing and improving compliance frameworks across the business.

You will maintain knowledge of best practices, build relationships with stakeholders, and provide pragmatic risk-based advice while supporting incident management and internal training.

Qualificações

• Significant experience in the energy industry or another highly regulated industry.
• Experience in compliance, assurance, audit, risk or related roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain knowledge of best compliance practices and regulatory changes affecting Momentum Energy.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders across teams.
• Provide pragmatic, risk-based regulatory compliance advice to internal stakeholders.
• Perform internal assurance activities, report findings, and monitor management actions.
• Facilitate the compliance plan and management of obligations, risks and controls.
• Support incident investigation and remediation for compliance incidents.
• Develop, maintain, and deliver internal compliance training.
• Review and signoff material to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations.
• Prepare and submit timely external compliance reporting to regulators and government departments.
