Job summary

Gridcog is seeking an Energy Analyst to join our Melbourne team. You will build and manage relationships with Australian and APAC customers, helping them model solar, wind, battery and hybrid projects while answering technical questions about the Gridcog platform and energy markets.

You will monitor usage, maintain market inputs, run demos with the sales team, create market blogs, and represent Gridcog at industry events. Fluency in English and Australian work rights are required.

Qualifications

• Degree or higher in energy, engineering, economics or a closely related field.
• Strong analytical abilities with data interpretation and modelling experience.
• Fluent English with clear written and verbal communication.
• Hands-on experience in the energy sector or energy projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own relationships with Australian and Asia-Pacific customers from onboarding to day-to-day use.
• Model solar, wind, battery and hybrid projects and answer technical questions about the platform and market frameworks (NEM/WEM).
• Monitor customer usage and intervene early to maximise value from Gridcog.
• Maintain inputs and assumptions library for Australian and APAC market prices, tariffs and costs.
• Run product demos with prospects alongside the sales team.
• Answer technical questions from prospective customers.
• Write blogs, market commentary and short videos on Australian energy markets.
• Represent Gridcog at industry events.
• Share customer insights with the product team and test new features against real use cases.
