Sydney Local Health District is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Ambulatory Care Endoscopy Unit at Concord Repatriation General Hospital in Sydney. The role covers the full endoscopy journey from pre-procedure assessment to discharge planning, with emphasis on infection control and team collaboration.

Ideal candidates will hold AHPRA registration, have recent endoscopy or perioperative experience, and be committed to person-centred care within NSW Health values.

Qualifications

• Current nursing registration with AHPRA.
• Experience in endoscopy, perioperative, recovery, or acute care.
• Commitment to person centred care and NSW Health core values.
• Ability to work Monday to Friday roster.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, patient-centred care throughout the endoscopy journey, including pre-procedure assessment, education, procedural support, and discharge planning.
• Assist with sedation monitoring, recovery care, documentation, and infection prevention.
• Endoscope reprocessing (where applicable), equipment preparation, stock management, and quality improvement activities.
• Collaborate with gastroenterologists, anaesthetists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe care.
