Job summary

MITS Alloy is seeking a highly organised Supply Chain Coordinator to support end-to-end supply chain operations. You will collaborate with Planning and Operations to manage inventory, procurement coordination, logistics, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ideal candidates have experience in supply chain, strong organisational skills, and familiarity with MRP systems and inventory platforms. A proactive mindset and excellent communication with stakeholders are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, and Inventory Management.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills.
• Experience working with MRP systems and inventory management platforms.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive mindset with continuous improvement focus.
• Relevant qualifications in SCM, Logistics, Business, or related discipline.
• Experience with manufacturing, warehousing operations, or demand planning processes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and minimise shortages.
• Assist with demand forecasting and replenishment planning activities.
• Maintain accurate inventory records within MRP and inventory management systems.
• Identify slow-moving, obsolete, or excess stock and support corrective actions.
• Raise and manage purchase orders, tracking, and supplier confirmations.
• Build strong supplier relationships, monitor performance and manage delivery commitments, lead times and supply risks.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies relating to orders, invoices, or deliveries.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with suppliers, freight, and warehouse partners.
• Monitor delivery schedules and address delays, disruptions, or service issues.
• Prepare and maintain shipping, transport, and logistics documentation.
• Liaise with freight forwarders to ensure service compliance and efficient freight execution.
• Maintain accurate supply chain data and system records.
• Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, supply chain performance, and KPIs.
• Analyze trends and identify risks, opportunities, and areas for process improvement.
