With a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and reliability, they continue to strengthen their brand and market share. Supplying dealerships, fleet operators, commercial customers and industry partners across Australia, this is a unique opportunity for a hands-on Operations & Supply Chain Supervisor to make a direct impact on company performance.

The role

Reporting to the Production Manager, you'll oversee the flow of materials, inventory and information across the business. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identify opportunities to improve and automate ERP (Ostendo) processes across the business
  • Lead the purchasing function and day-to-day procurement activities
  • Negotiate pricing, commercial terms and supply agreements with key suppliers (International & local)
  • Develop strong supplier relationships and improve cost, quality and delivery performance
  • Manage inventory levels to meet production requirements without carrying unnecessary stock
  • Oversee stores, goods receiving, storage, picking and dispatch processes
  • Improve stock accuracy through effective cycle counting, reconciliation and inventory controls
  • Reduce obsolete, excess and slow-moving inventory
  • Establish and monitor KPIs across purchasing, inventory and stores
  • Lead operational and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop and standardise procedures across the supply chain function
  • Lead, coach and develop purchasing and stores team members
  • Work closely with Production, Sales, Finance and other departments to improve the flow of materials and information through the business
What we're looking for
  • You’ll ideally be an experienced Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory or Operations Supervisor/Manager who has worked within a manufacturing and distribution environment, with an understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM's)
  • Degree qualified in Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, or Business will be highly regarded
  • Proven experience across procurement, purchasing, inventory, stores or supply chain operations
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong hands‑on experience with an ERP system such as Ostendo, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Oracle, Sage or similar
  • Experience leading and developing operational teams
  • Strong inventory and stock‑control knowledge
  • Supplier negotiation and relationship‑management experience
  • Strong analytical, reporting and problem‑solving capabilities
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of working capital and inventory investment
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, CIPS or APICS would be highly regarded but isn't essential
