Job summary

Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking an EMS Coordinator to join the E7-A Wedgetail team in Brisbane or Williamtown. The role focuses on evolving the program EMS, coordinating improvements, and representing the program at EMS Change Control Board meetings.

You will work closely with the Chief Engineer and Engineering Leads to enhance EMS processes and provide metrics assessing EMS health. Australian citizenship for defence security is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar EMS/Coordinating role.
• Experience using PLM or EDS software.
• Engineering degree or technical background preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage improvements, new business requirements and corrective actions to the EMS.
• Manage configuration of the EMS for the program.
• Represent the program at EMS Change Control Board and report impacts of changes.
• Assist with documentation of the program EMS and facilitate workshops as needed.
• Work with the Chief Engineer and Engineering Leads to develop and maintain EMS processes.
• Collaborate with EMS Practices Lead to incorporate new requirements into the EMS.
• Produce training material for EMS implementation and updates.
• Manage program EMS authorities and system access per EMS requirements.
• Interface with customers to support the EMS operation.
• Assist in metrics for health of the program EMS.
• Assist in changes to governing Engineering Plans.
