Endeavour Foundation invites applications for casual Disability Support Worker roles in Redcliffe, Queensland. You will empower people with disabilities to live independently, develop daily living skills, and participate in community activities within SIL homes.

Ideal candidates are calm, compassionate and professional, with experience supporting individuals with complex needs and behaviours of concern. A Certificate III in Disability is advantageous, and shifts may include sleepovers and varied

Qualifications

Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is advantageous.
Availability to work shifts that may include multiple sleepovers and a variety of shifts across days, evenings, early mornings, weekends, and active overnight supports.
Good computer skills and experience using Word, Excel and Outlook.
Hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check (Blue Card), NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card), First Aid, CPR, National Criminal History Check (Fit2Work), and an open Drivers License with comprehensive insurance on your vehicle.

Responsibilities

Help people achieve their NDIS goals by developing daily living skills such as housekeeping, personal care, social skills and budgeting.
Assist with personal care to meet individual needs.
Support meal planning, cooking, light cleaning and community outings to foster connection.
Provide support during daily activities such as walks, movies, or appointments.
Help individuals maintain connections with family, friends and services.
