Job summary

Wise Disability Support Services in Bendigo, VIC is seeking enthusiastic Support Workers to assist individuals with disabilities across the community. You will help with daily living, community participation, and skill development, while maintaining safe, respectful support.

Qualifications

• Commitment to rights and inclusion of people with disabilities.
• First Aid and CPR certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• Current Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Domestic support: light household tasks, meal prep, safe living environment.
• Community participation: support clients in social activities, appointments, hobbies, employment opportunities outside home.
• Skill development: deliver personalised plans to build independence and social skills.
• Health and well-being: monitor and report on physical and emotional well-being, administer medication with training.
• Documentation: keep accurate records of support provided and incidents.
