Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience delivering advice on employment law and industrial relations matters from a leading practice, government or in-house environment.
• Excellent academic record, strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience providing strategic workforce advice on enterprise bargaining, disputes, and regulatory/compliance matters; advocacy is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide employment law advice on workforce strategy, bargaining, disputes and industrial action.
• Advise and represent in employment and industrial relations disputes (e.g., general protections, unfair dismissals, bargaining disputes).
• Offer employment aspects of large-scale M&A and projects transactions; advise on compliance including anti-discrimination, safety and payroll issues.
• Interface with regulators; participate in investigations, prosecutions, and Fair Work Commission/Court proceedings.
