genU/MatchWorks in Australia is seeking an Employment Consultant for our Workforce Australia team. You’ll support participants to identify strengths, connect them with local employers, and link them with training and supports to build lasting careers.

Ideal candidates have customer service or employment consultancy experience, strong communication, proficient Microsoft Office, and the ability to maintain accurate records in Workforce Australia.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, recruitment or employment consultancy setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate required (we’ll help guide you).
• Ability to document and comply with Workforce Australia requirements.

What you’ll do

As an Employment Consultant in our Workforce Australia team you’ll:

• Work with your participants to understand their strengths and goals to match them with the right employment opportunities
• Bridge the gap between job seekers and local employers by promoting their unique skills and strengths
• Link participants with training, health, and community supports for long-term success
• Support participants to develop practical career plans that unlock their potential and boost confidence

What you’ll bring

• Highly developed communication skills to provide relevant supports to participants and external stakeholders
• Ability to provide accurate and timely documentation and compliance records in accordance with Workforce Australia requirements
• A collaborative team member who brings professionalism, positivity, and a mature approach to teamwork

(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)

• Experience in a customer service, recruitment or employment consultancy setting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems
