Mai-Wel in the Hunter region is seeking an experienced Employment & Capacity Building Coordinator to lead capacity building and job readiness programs for participants with disability. Working with schools, RTOs and employers, you will shape pathways to meaningful employment.
You will design learning experiences, monitor outcomes, sustain partnerships and pursue funding opportunities to grow services while ensuring best practice and compliant delivery.

We’re seeking an experienced and innovative Employment & Capacity Building Coordinator to join our NDIS Employment Pathways team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape capacity building and job readiness programs that empower people living with disabilities to build skills, confidence and pathways to meaningful employment.
Working collaboratively with internal teams, schools, Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), employers and community partners, you will strengthen employment pathways, foster strategic partnerships and contribute to positive employment outcomes for participants.

Passionate about developing innovative capacity building, job readiness and employment pathway programs
Self motivated, proactive, highly organised, with strong program coordination, planning, problem solving and project management skills
A collaborative relationship builder with experience engaging schools, employers, RTOs, community partners and other key stakeholders
Participant-centred and committed to continuous improvement, innovation and delivering high-quality outcomes
Adaptable and comfortable working collaboratively across diverse stakeholders and changing environments
Able to identify opportunities for program growth, sustainability and community impact.
