Job summary

Yilabara, a proudly Aboriginal-owned employment and training organisation, is growing its Dapto team and seeking passionate Employment Advisors to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander participants.

In this full-time role within Illawarra South Coast Workforce Australia, you will build culturally respectful relationships, coach on job readiness, connect people with opportunities, work with employers, and maintain compliant records.

About The Role

Yilabara is currently recruiting for our Dapto Employment Services team for a full-timeEmployment Advisor role.

As part of our Illawarra South Coast Workforce Australia team, you will support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander participants on their employment and education journeys.

You will empower individuals to build confidence, develop skills, and access meaningful employment or training opportunities.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build strong, culturally respectful relationships with participants
• Support job readiness through coaching, referrals, and tailored support
• Connect participants with employment and training opportunities
• Work with employers and community to create pathways
• Provide ongoing support to help participants succeed in work
• Maintain accurate records and meet compliance requirements
