Job summary

Unitywater is seeking an Employee Relations Specialist to support a fair, consistent and positive employee experience across the business. You will partner with leaders and HR Business Partners to navigate complex employee matters, including performance, conduct, grievances and workplace investigations.

This is a 6-month, full-time role with potential extension, based at Mango Hill or Maroochydore and supported by a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience in HR or Employee/Industrial Relations advisory role.
• Experience in unionised blue and white collar environments.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation and enterprise agreements.
• Experience leading formal ER processes and workplace investigations.

Responsibilities

• Support fair, consistent employee experience and partner with leaders on complex matters.
• Provide advice on performance, grievances and investigations.
• Contribute to Enterprise Agreement negotiations preparation.
• Coach leaders and strengthen employee relations practices.
• Ensure procedural fairness and confidentiality.
