Job summary

Woolworths Group in Sydney (Bella Vista with free onsite parking) is seeking an Employee Relations Case Specialist. You will manage your own caseload, providing fast-paced ER advice, coaching and investigation support to line leaders, ensuring wellbeing and positive team member experience.

Bring substantial ER/IR experience, investigative capability, and strong policy knowledge. The role offers a permanent hybrid work model and opportunities to influence employment practices across the business.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in ER/IR with investigations, case management and employment laws.
  • Strong coaching and influencing skills to engage leaders and stakeholders.
  • Experience handling matters before tribunals such as Fair Work Commission or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of ER matters end-to-end with a focus on wellbeing and experience.
  • Prepare documents and responses; represent Woolworths Group in tribunals.
  • Provide leaders with recommendations on legislation, policies and procedures.
  • Conduct investigations into grievances, bullying, harassment, fraud or misconduct.

You will manage your own caseload, providing fast-paced and high quality ER advice, coaching and investigation support to our line leaders.We are enabled by effective and efficient people processes and technology to support the management of our ER matters end to end, with a focus on team member wellbeing and experience.Conduct end to end investigations into a variety of ER matters from grievances through to significant bullying, harassment, fraud or misconduct casesPrepare documents and responses, and representing the Woolworths Group inr matters before the Fair Work Commission and other tribunalsManage complex matters involving ill and injured team membersProvide leaders with recommendations, coaching and advice in relation to legislation, policies and proceduresWhat you'll bringSignificant experience in an ER/IR role, including investigations, case management and employment/labour lawsExcellent coaching, negotiation and influencing skills, to engage with a wide range of stakeholdersStrong knowledge and understanding of relevant ER/IR legislation within different jurisdictions and application in policy, including experience with the Fair Work Commission and other relevant bodiesStrong communication skills and relationship building skillsEffective time management and the ability to manage a number of competing priorities and time sensitive casesWhat you’ll experienceA global business with endless career possibilities around every corner and across every discipline – with valuable exposure to a vast and exciting business network.Access to Sonder.
