Job summary

Stride Renewables Pty Ltd, a boutique clean energy advisory, is seeking a junior Stakeholder Engagement and Communications Advisor in Sydney or Melbourne with hybrid work options. You will support engagement and communications on fast-moving renewable energy projects, building relationships with communities, landholders, government and industry bodies.

You will work with senior staff to develop stakeholder mapping, briefs and content, and help organise workshops and events while travelling to

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in stakeholder engagement, community engagement, government relations or similar client-facing role.
• Excellent written communication demonstrated through briefs, reports or media content.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build trusted relationships.
• Willingness to travel regularly to regional locations, including overnight stays.
• Experience engaging with government, First Nations groups or industry bodies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate stakeholder mapping, briefings, updates and training for communities, landholders and government bodies.
• Write briefs, factsheets, newsletters, web and media content, meeting notes and workshop packs.
• Organise and help facilitate workshops, meetings and community events.
• Travel to regional locations for events and client meetings.
• Monitor policy developments and flag emerging issues.
• Support tender submissions and engagement strategies for projects.
