Seek.com.au is looking for a Junior Project Manager to join our construction division. You will assist with planning, coordination and delivery of construction, refurbishment, maintenance and fit-out projects, working closely with senior PMs, contractors and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in construction, project coordination, site supervision or a similar role.
• Sound understanding of construction processes, site operations and project documentation.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning, coordination and delivery of construction, maintenance and fit-out projects.
• Support senior Project Managers with scheduling, budgeting, project tracking and reporting.
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and site activities to ensure projects progress efficiently.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, workmanship, quality and compliance.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including scopes of work, RFIs, variations and progress reports.
• Assist with procurement, material coordination and supplier management.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements.
• Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders, contractors and external partners.
• Identify potential project delays or challenges and assist in implementing practical solutions.
