Job summary

Animal Referral Hospital in Brisbane is expanding and seeks an experienced ECC Veterinarian or an enthusiastic GP with a passion for emergency medicine. This full-time role focuses on primary and referred case management in the ECC/ICU, with opportunities for learning from a multidisciplinary team.

We offer flexible rostering and a supportive environment with extensive continuing education and membership support.

Qualifications

• Experience in emergency and critical care is highly regarded.
• Registered veterinary surgeon or eligible for registration in Queensland.
• 3+ years of general practice experience encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with clients, staff and referring veterinarians.
• Willingness to contribute to a collaborative team and patient care.
• Desire to deliver high standards of emergency and critical care with compassion.

Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility for treatment of primary accession and referred cases in the emergency and critical care department.
• Shared care of hospitalised patients from other specialist departments.
• Management of ICU cases with multidisciplinary support and learning opportunities.
