Job summary

Greencross Veterinary Hospital Werribee is seeking an experienced Emergency Veterinarian for a permanent part-time or full-time role. The hospital operates 24/7 and offers broad clinical services, with mentorship from registrars and specialists in Surgery, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Neurology, Dentistry and Anaesthesia.

You will handle complex critical cases, contribute to teaching of DVM students from the University of Melbourne, and participate in the development of our ECC internship

Qualifications

• ECC experience and passion for critical care.
• Ability to manage complex multidisciplinary cases.
• Comfort with teaching and mentoring DVM students.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency and critical care for a wide range of cases.
• Lead and participate in on-floor training for DVM students.
• Contribute to the Greencross Vet Hospital ECC Internship program.
• Participate in morbidity/mortality rounds and journal club.
