Job summary

St John of God Ballarat Hospital is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join the Emergency Department team. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centred care for adult and paediatric presentations, working with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and timely care.

The role offers permanent employment with up to 38 hours per week, with options for part-time. Applicants must hold current AHPRA registration and demonstrate strong clinical, communication and critical thinking skills.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurses with AHPRA registration and experience in emergency care.
• Ability to provide patient-centred care across adult and paediatric presentations.
• Strong communication and critical thinking in a fast-paced ED setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high-quality patient-centred care in the ED.
• Monitor Progress, review diagnostics and escalate changes promptly.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team and mentor junior nurses.
