Job summary

STAT Recruitment is seeking a FACEM for a temporary role in Bathurst, NSW. The position requires FACEM certification and leadership of the emergency department, with a daily rate of 3,000 AUD. Travel and accommodation are provided, and NSW Health mandates include the NSW WWCC and ALS certification.

Dates include 19–22 September for Senior Day and on-site responsibilities at the regional hospital. This is a fill-in role with registrar and senior support on site.

• ALS Certificate required for practicing in emergency medicine.
• NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) required.

Job description

On the banks of the Macquarie River in the Central Tablelands of NSW, the vibrant regional centre of Bathurst is rich with history and gold rush heritage. With Mount Panorama-Whaluu rising in the distance, its also the home of Australian motor racing and a hotspot for motorsport enthusiasts.

This hospital consists of an emergency department and inpatient beds, as well as community health services. Also located on site is Daffodil Cottage, which provides cancer care services.
