Evolution Mining is seeking an Emergency Management Advisor at Ernest Henry Operations to lead the site’s emergency response capability, build a ready Emergency Response Team, and ensure compliance with site and regulatory requirements. You will deliver training, coaching, and audits to strengthen preparedness while maintaining readiness of emergency systems and equipment.

This hands-on role combines emergency response expertise with leadership, supporting the broader health and safety strategy

Formación

• Experience in emergency response, ideally within mining or heavy industry.
• Certificate III in Mines Rescue and Occupational First Aid is required.
• Training and assessment capability or strong interest in developing it.

What's the opportunity?

As the Emergency Management Advisor at Ernest Henry Operations, you’ll lead how the site prepares for and responds to emergency situations. Reporting to the Senior Advisor - Risk, Health & Safety, you’ll take ownership of emergency response capability, building a strong, ready and well-trained Emergency Response Team (ERT) while ensuring systems meet site and legislative requirements. This is a hands-on role where you’ll combine emergency response expertise with training and leadership, playing a key role in keeping people safe and prepared

• Experience in emergency response, ideally within mining or heavy industry
• Certificate III in Mines Rescue and Occupational First Aid
• Training and assessment capability, or a strong interest in developing it
• Strong knowledge of emergency response and safety systems
• The ability to lead, coach and build capability in teams
• Confidence making decisions in high-pressure situations
• Solid systems skills and a practical, hands-on approach.
