Job summary

Bendigo Health in Victoria is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department who will undertake a postgraduate program with Deakin University to advance emergency nursing skills. In this role you will rotate through the Intensive Care Unit for brief periods and practice according to the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia standards, Code of Ethics, and Code of Professional Conduct.

Qualifications

• Registered nurses employed in the Emergency Department pursuing a Bendigo Health approved postgraduate course with Deakin University.
• Participants will rotate to the Intensive Care Unit to develop skills in caring for critically ill ICU inpatients.
• Practice according to the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia standards (National Competency Standards, Code of Conduct, Code of Ethics).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Emergency Department.
• Rotate to Intensive Care Unit for skill development.
• Adhere to professional standards and on-boarding immunisation requirements.
