Job summary

Bendigo Health is offering a Registered Nurse – Emergency Department Postgraduate Nursing Course. This fixed-term, part-time role supports postgraduate study with Deakin University and includes rotations to the Intensive Care Unit to build critical care skills.

RNs will practice according to the National Competency Standards for the Registered Nurse and related codes of conduct in Australia. Applicants must be prepared for a clinical education pathway across ED and ICU.

Qualifications

• Registered nurses employed in the Emergency Department as part of postgraduate study are required to enrol in Bendigo Health approved postgraduate course with Deakin University.
• Participants will rotate to the Intensive Care Unit to develop skills in caring for critically ill ICU inpatients.
• Nurse will practice according to Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia standards.

Responsibilities

• Enrol in Bendigo Health approved postgraduate course in Emergency Nursing.
• Rotate to ICU for skill development and cross-disciplinary exposure.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Emergency Department in line with professional standards.
