Job summary

Austin Health in Melbourne's CBD is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department to deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. You will work as the primary nurse with support from the ED team to develop and evaluate the patient’s plan of care in partnership with patients and carers.

Candidates should have RN with AHPRA registration, a Postgraduate Certificate in Critical Care Nursing, and a commitment to ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Experience in critical care nursing and patient-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centred nursing care and establish/ evaluate the plan of care with patients and carers.
• Act as primary nurse coordinating with ED team to ensure safe care.
• Ensure care aligns with legislation, policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Collaborate with the broader health-care team across ED.
