Qualifikationen

• Current registration as an RN with AHPRA.
• Postgraduate qualification in Emergency or Critical Care Nursing is required.
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills.

Aufgaben

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in line with professional standards and clinical guidelines
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised patient care
• Provide emergency nursing care across triage, resuscitation and other Emergency Department areas
• Care for critically unwell patients and respond to emergency presentations
• Collaborate with medical staff and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
• Provide health education and support to patients and their families
• Monitor clinical equipment and ensure safe operation and cleanliness
• Support and mentor junior nurses and undergraduate nursing students
• Participate in clinical education, team meetings and continuous quality improvement initiatives
• Work in accordance with organisational policies, infection control procedures and patient safety standards
