Job summary

Hastings Deering (Australia) Ltd in Emerald is seeking a Storeperson to join our Parts Team. This permanent, full-time role is Monday to Friday, with responsibilities including picking, packing, storing and dispatching materials to meet contractual requirements.

You will participate in stocktakes and continuous improvement activities, adhere to quality policies and ensure high standards of customer service while following WHS policies.

Qualifications

• Forklift license preferred.
• Experience in warehousing, inventory control, freight, logistics or parts operations will be highly regarded.
• Excellent communication skills with a genuine customer focus.
• Tech-savvy with experience using laptops, tablets, parts systems and general technology.
• Well organized with strong time management skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently pick, pack, store and dispatch materials within the warehouse to meet contractual and business requirements.
• Promote success within the warehouse function by participating in stocktakes, maintenance and improvement activities.
• Proactively contribute to the provision of quality within the department by personally adhering to company quality policies and systems.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service aligned with Hastings Deering’s commitment to excellence.
• Strictly adhere to workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
