Job summary

WorkPac is seeking a Vacuum Truck Driver in the Gladstone Region to support civil, industrial, and liquid waste projects. You will operate for earthworks-related assignments, perform pre-starts, daily inspections and ensure vehicle cleanliness.

This casual on-call role offers 12-hour shifts (6 to 6) with day and night options. Applicants must hold a current MR/HR/HC/MC licence and the required site credentials; additional certifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Current MR/HR/HC/MC licence required.
• 3 Site Medipass.
• White Construction Card.
• Load restraint, fatigue management and CoR awareness desirable/required.
• Inducted for Cement Australia (preference).
• Plant or dangerous goods credentials (preference).

Responsibilities

• Operate for civil, industrial, or liquid waste jobs in the Gladstone Region.
• Conduct pre-starts, daily inspections and vehicle cleanliness checks.
• Plan trips considering fatigue, route, access, load and delivery requirements.
• Load, secure, transport and unload materials or equipment safely where authorised.
• Complete dockets, weighbridge tickets, logbooks/sheets and delivery documentation.
• Follow NHVR / DTMR road and site traffic management, speed limits, PPE and communication protocols.
• Assist with loading, site support and basic maintenance tasks as required.

Job description

Our client services fleets to include a wide range of equipment essential for earthmoving, distribution, and transport. They’re now fully equipped to carry out earthworks services, from road construction and quarry material transport, to water cartage.

What you will be doing:

As an HR (Heavy Rigid) or HC (Heavy Combination) Vacuum Truck Driver, you will operate for civil, industrial, or liquid waste jobs in the Gladstone Region.

Conduct pre-starts, daily inspections and vehicle cleanliness checks

Plan trips in accordance with fatigue, route, access, load and delivery requirements

Load, secure, transport and unload materials or equipment safely where authorised

Complete dockets, weighbridge tickets, logbooks/sheets and delivery documentation

Follow NHVR / DTMR road and site traffic management, speed limits, PPE and communication protocols

Assist with loading, site support and basic maintenance tasks as required

What you will need:

Current Drivers License - MR/HR/HC/MC, depending on vehicle assigned
