Job summary

Avanade Next Forward Deployed Engineers sit inside client teams from week one, turning business ambition into production reality through working prototypes, production-grade deployments, and enterprise-scale AI solutions.

You will work with Industry Reinvention Leads, Domain Architects, and Trust Architects to translate priorities into deployable systems, embedding agentic AI across Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, and the Avanade Platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software or AI engineering with production systems
• Proficient in Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI
• Full-stack capabilities across frontend, APIs, data and agents
• Experience building/evaluating agentic systems including retrieval, tool use, failure handling
• Comfortable in client environments with high autonomy and stakeholders
• Track record turning prototypes into production quickly
• Able to converse with business and technical audiences without intermediaries

Responsibilities

• Translate client priorities into practical AI-enabled solutions
• Build and deploy agentic AI systems end-to-end, embedded with the client
• Identify where AI creates value and shape viable, enterprise-scale solutions
• In Consulting: build the working prototype to prove strategy
• In Studios: evolve prototypes to production-grade systems
• In Products: configure pre-built agentic products into client environments
• Design on Avanade Platform using Copilot Studio and Azure AI stack
• Apply AI-native engineering practices, observability and production operations
• Collaborate with Trust and Value Architects to ensure alignment with outcomes
• Contribute reusable components to the APAC IP library
• Operate with high autonomy in client environments
