Job summary

Protecnium is seeking an ELV Engineer to join the Heavy Civil Construction Project in Cooma, NSW. You will review and coordinate technical deliverables for Communications, Network Systems and Radio, and act as the designated ELV reviewer for cybersecurity across all packages.

Initial on-site work for 1–1.5 months, then hybrid with monthly on-site visits; duties include verifying design evidence against ERs, SOWs and project standards, tracking comments to closure, and coordinating interfaces

Qualifications

• Review and coordinate technical deliverables prepared by subcontractors for project-wide systems.
• Verify cybersecurity requirements and compliance across ELV packages.
• Assess engineering submissions against ERs, SOWs, and project standards.
• Track review comments to closure and obtain No Objection statuses.
• Coordinate RFIs and design-change proposals with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Critically review detailed engineering packages for completeness and performance.
• Review network topology, rack layouts, cable schedules, and power budgets.
• Verify interfaces among Communications, Radio and ISS with other systems.
• Issue clear comments through CRS and track responses to closure.
• Review RFIs and design-change proposals with stakeholders.
• Review testing/commissioning plans and acceptance criteria.
• Track submissions and design interfaces against the engineering programme.
